About ACI

Recognising the challenges that audit committees face in meeting their demanding responsibilities, KPMG LLP in the US established the Audit Committee Institute (ACI) in 1999 to provide a resource for audit committee members and directors in general.

Wholly sponsored by KPMG International, the ACI provides a range of forums, publications and events to facilitate the exchange and sharing of audit committee best practices and processes. In Australia this encompasses a regular newsletter for directors, Across the board, and regular forums to discuss topical issues and share experiences and insights.

The Australian ACI joins a growing number of Institutes throughout the world including the United States, United Kingdom and Hong Kong. A wide range of resources are also available via their respective ACI websites. Refer to other ACI sites to access KPMG’s international ACI resources.
